पेट्रोल र डिजल दुवै इन्धन सस्तिए पछि तस्करी हवात्तै बढेको हो । नेपालमा पेट्रोलको मूल्य प्रतिलिटर १ सय रुपैयाँ ५० पैसा र भारतमा प्रतिलिटर नेपाली रुपैयाँ १ सय १८ रुपैयाँ ४० पैसा रहेको छ । त्यसैगरी डिजलको मूल्य नेपालमा प्रतिलिटर ७६ रुपैयाँ ५० पैसा र भारतमा १ सय रुपैयाँ ४८ पैसा रहेको छ । इन्धन सस्तो हुँदा मुख्य नाका बाटै एक अर्को मुलुकका बासिन्दाले व्यक्तिगत प्रयोगका लागि इन्धन भर्नु सामान्य भए पनि जिल्लाको ग्रामीण नाकाबाट भने दैनिक ठूलो परिमाणमा इन्धन तस्करी भएर भारत पुग्दै छ । पछिल्लो समय भिस्वा, जानकीटोला, पिडारीगुठी लगायतका नाकाबाट इन्धनको तस्करी बढी हुने गरेको स्थानीय बताउँछन् ।
