अनावश्यक ध्वनिका कारण मानसिक तनाव बढ्ने, रिस उठ्ने, टाउको दुख्ने, अध्ययन गर्न मन नलाग्ने समस्या हुने चिकित्सकको भनाइ छ । ध्वनि प्रदूषणका कारण यातायात साधनका हर्न, जहाजले निकाल्ने आवाज र मेसिनहरू मुख्य हुन् । गाडीको हर्न नियन्त्रण गरे ३० प्रतिशत ध्वनि प्रदूषण नियन्त्रण हुने त्रिवि शिक्षण अस्पतालका छातीरोग विशेषज्ञ डा. करवीरनाथ योगीले बताए । ध्वनि प्रदूषण अदृश्य रोग भएकाले अधिकांश रोग यसैबाट विकास हुँदै जाने उनले बताए । हाम्रो समाजमा विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठनले तय गरेको ध्वनिभन्दा तेब्बर बढी भएको चिकित्सकको भनाइ छ ।
