काठमाडौं : दोस्रो चरणको स्थानीय चुनाव फेरि पाँच दिन सार्ने विषयमा राजनीतिक नेतृत्वबीच छलफल सुरु भएको छ।
मन्त्रिपरिषद्को बुधबार बिहान बस्ने बैठकले यस विषयमा निर्णय गर्न सक्ने ऊर्जामन्त्री जनार्दन शर्माले जानकारी दिनुभयो। ‘असार ९ गते मुस्लिम समुदायको रमझान पर्व पर्ने भएकाले उहाँहरुबाट चुनावको मिति सार्न दबाब आएको छ’, ऊर्जामन्त्री शर्माले भन्नुभयो, ‘त्यसैले यस विषयमा केही निर्णय गर्नुपर्ने अवस्था छ।’
स्रोतका अनुसार चुनावको मिति सार्ने विषयमा प्रधानमन्त्री प्रचण्डले निर्वाचन आयोगका पदाधिकारीसँग बालुवाटारमा मंगलबार नै छलफल गर्नु भएको छ।
असार ९ गते दोस्रो चरणको चुनावको मिति तोकिएको भए पनि मुस्लिम समुदायको मुख्य पर्व रमजान पर्ने भएकाले निर्वाचनको मिति सार्ने विषयमा मंगलबार बसेको सर्वदलीय बैठकमा छलफल भएको थियो।
